illest L.A

So while in L.A I did a lot of shopping! But there is one store that needs a special mention. ILLEST!!! It is such an sick store and we all went a little crazy spending up large while we were there!

When we walked in the store, Yogi was behind the counter and he said “You guys sound like New Zealanders you must be Taryn’s friends!” (Thanks iheartstance for organizing the special treatment) :) Was so awesome to try on all there product after spending so much time drooling over it online!!

Yogi is super friendly dude! If you are ever in L.A you should pop in and see their ill store and say hello! :)

Thanks Yogi for putting up with us while we picking our million stickers!! :)

This is Yogi’s Honda Ruckus out side the L.A illest store.

…..Ben and I also went to the San Fran illest Store and got an illest floor mat. And Aston my cat will NOT get off it. He is one ill kitty!

Rotiform Wheels

The first day that we arrived in L.A Ben and Andre wanted to go to JE Pistons and Cosworth. So the trade off meant that I got to go to Rotiform Wheels! I was stupid excited to say the least! When we arrived we met Jason who is the owner, he showed us round and told us a bit about the company! I had so much fun there and was so awesome to get to see some Rotiform wheels in real life and touch them! Haha :)

Maybe the best “Boss” business card I have ever seen!

So these purple forged 3 piece BLQ are my dream! One day I WILL have these on my 370z!!!

Jason gave us a sneak peak of the Audi A8 that was being prepared  for the Air Lift stand at SEMA 2011.

Thank you so much Jason for taking the time out for showing us around and having a chat with us! I know you were super busy getting ready for SEMA! Also thank you so much for the Rotiform stickers and the Rotiform Tshirts! I really appreciate it! Thanks again! :)

Check out their Facebook Page. They post heaps of awesome pics everyday!

Santa Monica Pier

One afternoon while in L.A we drove to Santa Monica to have dinner at the end of the pier. If you are heading to L.A I would really recommend you go there. It is best to get there just as the sun is setting because it’s so beautiful to watch!

The views were amazing and the colour of the sky from the sunset was absolutely gorgeous.

We had dinner the restaurant which is at the end the Pier. We had these huge cocktails that were 1.5L and were full of Tequila, they were sooo strong! (Lucky Andre played Dad and sober drove us home :) )

After finishing the huge cocktails I decided I needed to take my drunken self down to the beach to quote “put my toes in some Californian sand bitches” Haha.

Ben and I actually went back to Santa Monica Pier when we came back from Vegas because we had one day in LA before heading up to San Fran. Because we ran out of time when we first went there we decided to play the carnival games and go on the Ferris Wheel. I wanted to go on the Roller Coaster but Ben was to scared. (no lies haha :) )

Ben won me this Tweety Bird! … What a talented boyfriend I have :) I even brought it all the way home to New Zealand with me!

So just incase you haven’t got my drift yet Santa Monica Pier is amazing and totally worth visiting! DO IT! :)

All Things L.A

Chinatown – Hollywood Blvd – Rodeo Dr

So I am back to reality…. But the exciting news is I get to start sharing my photos with you all! L.A was the first city we went to, we had lots of things to do and places to see and not much time to do it in!

So first up we hit up Chinatown and had Yum Cha for breaky. Maybe the best Yum Cha I have ever had in my LIFE!!

Next up we drove to Hollywood Boulevard to see the stars and I had my photo will a few of music’s greats! We also did a tour that took us around Belverly Hills! So many huge houses and fancy cars!

The highways in LA are huge!

Got my photo with Queen and Johnny Cash :)

These two random dudes with crazy hats were chilling out at the sign so I had a photo haha. We then went down Rodeo Dr, Everything down the Drive is so perfect and clean it is amazing!

We went into Kodak Theatre to go and look up at the Hollywood sign!

They are starting to prepare a spot for me to have my star :)

And a few photos that all I can say about them is “Only in Hollywood”….
